Roots Pakistan’s Women & Youth Empowerment   Team has launched ‘Greening Pakistan and Environmental Protection initiative 2023’.

The Team   in collaboration with the   National Cleaner Production Centre(NCPC) and local community has planned the Plantation Season schedule, starting from 15^th February in Agency for Barani Areas Development(ABAD) Cooperative Housing Society (ACHS)-ACHS Rawalpindi.

Waste bins for segregation of metal, plastic and organic materials with the aim of recycling were also distributed among local schools and local vendors.

The Roots Pakistan’s Women & Youth Empowerment Team led by its   CEO Dr. Wajid Pirzada visited NPCP Head office Rawalpindi and met company’s management, including its Coordinator Mr. Irshad Ramay and the Environmental Engineer.

CEO Roots Pakistan thanked NCPC management for their partnership with Roots Pakistan for a noble cause.

Roots Pakistan has named Ms. Fatima Faridah as its Coordinator, for its newly incepted Women and Youth Empowerment Initiative. There are six lady members spearheading this initiative.
